Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song while I was in college. I had the melody to the song made up and one day a buddy of mine came over and he came up with the chord progressions to the song. In one of my demo tapes, I heard something that sounded like a horn section in some of the guitar parts. So I worked on it and was able to incorporate a big band jazz grove and horn section into the song. The tile of the song came from a structural engineering class I was taking in college. One of the analysis method was called "Side Sway." I thought that by adding the word "Swing" to the end of it would be a great name for this song. That is how this song came about :o)
