Story Behind The Song
Although this song may seem mysterious or very individual in the lyrics, it is actually a text that I hope many artists can relate to.
I've spent more than half my life learning valuable lessons, being deeply inspired, and even "cosmically connected" to my biggest musical heroes. They are such a huge part of me- of my life and music (both personal and professional), and yet in this song I must come to terms with the thought that perhaps I'll never get to meet them.
Still, the glimmer of hope to one day be able to call them colleagues.

Lyrics
Haven't you ever wanted
To make somebody's dream come true?
Half my life all I've wanted
Is to someday sing a song with you.
But will you ever know me?
And will I ever know you?
I have painted a picture
Where you are standing next to me.
You are a central fixture-
My heritage, my company.
But will I ever know you?
And will you ever know me?
I see it in my mind, how you will come to find
Room for me in your heart, room for me in your life.
I could be like a blister,
The living trace of where you've been.
Or I could be like a whisper,
The cosmic goosebumps on your skin.
Trying to remind you that you have left a Cheshire's grin...
Showing up right when I need you, then disappear again.
But where am I to start
Combining worlds apart?
The thread throughout my life,
A pulse within my heart.
