I was involved with a start-up company and everyone was convinced we were gonna be the next big thing. Needless to say, we failed. It was also inspired about what I thought Silicon Valley was about, as well as those late night infomercials where they try to sell you real estate, or the spam emails you get in your mail about some distant cousin in Nigeria who has died.
