all of my friends are either junkies, dead, or in jail...i would like to keep better company but there are alot of reasons i get along better with the social underdog, i hate the clean cut 9-5 end of society, it offers me nothing...thsi is a song about a paradox lifestyle, wanting to be clean and safe and even possibly legal, but just not being able to be part of what i hate, losing one friend at a time to Heroin or Jail and not being able to do anything about it-Duffy
