Song Description
Often times I've stopped to examine my life, where I've been, what I've done. When we examine ourselves it is often all to easy to realize that we may have grown into something that we hate. Finding our true identity begins with losing our own selves to find it. When we let go of the things in life that hold us down and keep us captivated by our demons. When we embrace the Christ and His work on the cross, we leave behind our own lives - everything. We disappear, vanish, as we become who we truely are. Jesus said, "whoever seeks to find his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." It's more than a religious practice, it finding who you really are.

Lyrics
Do I still recognize myself in the mirror?
Can I see my image any clearer?
An unfamiliar likeness of myself keeps appearing.
Who was inclined to design this man I'm fearing?
Losing my life to find it.
Losing my life to find it.
I'm going to die in the process,
And live with the recourse,
Do away with the excess,
Refuse to retrogress.
I used to be defined by so many other things,
But they fade with the changes life brings.
Sometimes I feel afraid of what I've left,
Afraid that it's something I will soon regret.
