This was wrote by Tony about a Teenage Friend of his. The guy has a very bad relationship with his stepfather, He started taking recreational drugs and they have a psychotic effect on him, We live beside a lake and one night Tony prevented him from commiting suicide,

Song Description

The song is Moody and haunting , yet there is a glimmer of hope there in the outro section, The song starts off on the bass and evokes a minor haunting mood the verse continues this with the subtle use of pad sounds on the keyboard, the chorus is lifting accentuated by the unison bends on the lead guitsr. the last verse is particularily hauting and the chrous comes in with a bang, the outro is lifting and give a mood of hop as the unison bends are harmonies with minor and major thirds.
