I have had a few cads of my own but have also witnessed many friends spin out of control while in the storm of confusion caused by the rejection. The selfishness of the one who feels powerless to resist the new lover. All the spin that gets put on 'conversations from the heart'. The 'truth' is the last thing you'll hear. She has her life back and looking back sees his life as calm and wonders when he's going to stir it up again. He doesn't do the simple happy life. She know that. He is a victim of passion and addicted to the struggle caused by his actions. She hears of his latest antics through friends and can't believe that the new woman in his life can't see through it.
