this was inspired by the terrible violence going on in the middle east right now. not to mention 9-11
Song Description
the lyrics are about religion. there are so many different ones that all insist that their's is the true faith. in this song, i say i need something to believe in. if any one of those religions could offer me anything tangible i would be a "true believer". but in the course of the song, you find out that my search has been unsuccesful. at the end, i say "if there is anybody looking for a better way, i'll be your true believer"... in other words, if anyone has the good sense to find a better path then i will believe in them.
