Kathy's spirit has been broken, she puts up with abuse without really knowing why. Sitting on her bed surrounded by pictures of her life she notices that in every picture everyone is smiling - in reality it couldn't be farther from the truth. As her partner spends another night at the bar she decides its time to leave - Escape. But this time make sure he can't come after her again.

Questions what can go on behind closed doors, domestic violence and the sense of helplessness that can cause - While outwardedly people think thinks are fine, and appear fine. ... How often , after somethingcomes out do we heard 'Who would have thought?' - Kathy ponders how even those affected contirbte to hiding it.
