Story Behind The Song
A serene place I loved to go when bored, or feeling alone. I often ran into a man who lived out in the woods nearby. When the high school kids would have parties at the lake he would show up and almost always get beat up by some wanna be tough guy high school jerk. I pulled him out of the campfire unconscious once. Everyone else just stood laughing at him as he laid in the coals smoldering his flannel. Alone I would talk to him although many other people were around. These were not people I could particularly talk to..and on and on and on...Anyway
