This song provokes contemplation of our fallibility - even as Christians, our imperfectness, our inability to measure up and how we simply fail sometimes - in spite of knowing and being able to do right thing. Yet it also inspires hope; it testifies to God's grace towards us, his forgivesness and his willingness and ability to restore ALWAYS, though we (those of us who profess faith in Christ) always fail him sometimes.
