Story Behind The Song
This is one of those songs that just came to me all at once. Some songs take forever to come together... but for this one I just got an urge to pick up my acoustic and the words and music just flowed out... I was sitting by an open window thinking about my wife and within an hour the whole song was done. I think this is one of the most passionate songs I've written and some of my best lyrics... I like the imagery they communicate... --Brian Weber

Lyrics
Breathe You In
(Brian Weber 6/03)
I can see the face of God
Lying next to me
Feel your skin against my skin
The meaning comes to me
And I breathe you in
And I breathe you in
Summer nights that get so cold
Gently stroke my soul
Close my eyes and drink you in
Like water on my lips
I can see you better now
But parts remain unseen
I will ferret each one out
To make this more complete
And I breathe you in
And I breathe you in
INSTRUMENTAL BREAK
See the years lost in your eyes
I see God in you
Thoughts be born and realized
In this fusion here with you
As I breathe you in
As I breathe you in
Sometimes with just one touch
All this fear is gone
Then sometimes it sits for days
I can?t describe that pain
Until I breathe you in
As I breathe you in
INSTRUMENTAL BREAK
Sleep is overwhelming me
The darkness fills the space
Once again you?ve brought me peace
A smile falls on my face
I breathe you in
I breathe you in
