When you move there?s a break in silence
Stillness in violence a plague on patience
Fire that burns on the sea does not cinder
But bends with the wind over miles
But you make the fire burn, those eyes

I was once a flightless bird
Bound to the earth and the sea
Burdened by an undying shadow

But with you I can fly, through it all

Transformed but still human
Like the phoenix that dies in the fire
To be reborn again in its glory, to light the sun in night
