This song is about wanting to be a recognized musician. My whole life I have felt untrue to my soul when I am doing anything other than writing and singing music. Everytime I got a job, the whole day just felt like wasted time to me when I could be creating music. It's about someday finding my way and "flying high" when I get there. You have to see yourself accomplishing your goal or it will never happen. The chorus is about living your dream

Knowing where you need to go with your life and not knowing how to get there is a struggle we all go through growing up. This person wants to be able to feel the freedom from what's driving them to their goal. The only way to release that pressure is to make it happen.
