Story Behind The Song

I wrote She Sails Away after watching The Bounty. I was very moved by the scene where the King's daughter has to choose between her father, or Mr. Christian. She looks at both of them while a teardrop rolls down her face. After she leaves, the King breaks down. Sadly, he never saw her again. Amazingly, I completed the entire song in one day. Got to love those strings!
