Story Behind The Song
Inspired equally by the great Hank Williams and by a girl whose name escapes me at the moment, needless to say, the song was obviously mostly inspired by the world famous Gary Usher b-side "Just the Way I Feel".

Lyrics
Driver take me down home to Kentucky
The girl I love, she broke my heart in three
I knew what she would say before she said it
And I just about had enough of Tennessee
I thought we'd be happy but she said that
She didn't quite see eye to eye with me
She said she'd always treasure what we once had
But someone told her she had to be free
She was gone by the time I realized that she was for real
And my life will never be the same, well that's just the way I feel
Driver have you ever met a woman
Who stole your heart and found no use for it
Just tell me what to do, how to forget her
Cause things look pretty grim from where I sit
