Bleed

Story Behind The Song

I started humming to the chorus and the word "bleed" came out so the rest of the song became centered around that word.

Song Description

The melody was written by our bass player and is played on bass. A very haunting and beautiful tune that needed almost quite the opposite for lyrics. We pose a question to a killer and also to God.

Lyrics

You, don't know what you done
you're holding the gun
and the life that you take with the hearts that you break

Shy, do you turn away?
what can I say
Do you really need to see someone bleed?

Why do you need to see someone bleed
to see someone bleed
why do you need to see someone bleed

Lord I don't understand
the work of your hand
why can't he fill instead of kill?

Lord what is your goal
with this empty soul
with this final breath I scream out in death

Why do you need someone to bleed
someone to bleed
Why do you need to see someone bleed. Guitar solo/chorus
