Story Behind The Song

There are so many horrible things that happen to all of us every single day that seem to have no point. The pain is unbearable, and our suffering doesn't seem like it will ever stop. When I was in the 7th grade, my teacher would bring her 4 year old into class most days. She had epilepsy, and my teacher was terrified of her having an episode in my teacher's absence. Once I reached high school, I received word that her daughter had passed away. After weeks of crying and cursing life and whatever God would do this so needlessly, I started to notice other things in my life that I hadn't before. The positive aspects of those around me seemed to glow out of them. I started to notice people, in their kindness and selfless acts, as they were. Through the pain and suffering of all of us, there is good that comes from us all. So, by default, we are all good, and should strive for that from the get go...

"Choir of Angels" is a plea to humanity to seek the good within ourselves and within each other, to make us a better human race.
