Story Behind The Song
This is the studio version of the fishin tune that I recorded in Los Angeles in 2004.
I wrote the song hoping I'd get to sing it at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival..I didn't get in on the show, but I called a local radio station,sang the song over the phone to Steve Rouse ,a local radio personality He had his sidekick.Maynard(currently the Co Host of the Ed Norris show) play guitar along with me and put it on the air "LIVE".I was laying in bed 9 am reading the lyrics that i hadn't memorized yet. singing through a totally hoarse voice over a telephone.Actually what you hear in the song is their response to it the next morning at RUSH HOUR.And no I wasn't drunk. that recording is also on this site.
