Story Behind The Song

The groove was written in a matter of seconds, I knew i could rock it out for ages with a decent chorus to move to. I'd been wanting to write a song to show off my slide playing for a long time so it was really exciting to get this one going. I'm an obsessive person so addiction is quite a natural thing to write about, for this reason the lyrics came to me quite easily.

Song Description

Fever is about struggling with addiction and the power of temptation. The vocals and guitar playing combine to create an uneasy mood. The slide guitar playing adds further to the uneasy feeling of the song. This song is totally inspired by groups such as Zeppelin, Beefhearts Magic Band, Allman Bros and Hendrix.
