Broadjam Member Reviews

I really love the beginning of the song and the wonderful lead vocals. I also like the sound of the rhythm guitar and keyboards. The drums sound great and I like how they came in as I was writing the review - really joyful song! Sounds a little like Michael Smith.

Lyrics

Starry night, quiet hill
The weary world lay dark and still
Far form peace, far from grace
Lost in sin and shamed disgrace

When from darkest night
A brilliant light displayed
And broke through the darkness
Saying "Do not be afraid"

And the night filled up with sound
As mercy cried out, and it's song shook the ground
Singing "peace to the earth, hope can be found
For men of goodwill as heaven comes down"
In the humblest place a savior was found
And his glory all around

Virgin girl, favored one
On a journey home bearing a son
With the birth of her child mere moments away
She found nowhere safe for a baby to lay

But through all her pain. God promise made a way
Perfect Lamb of God mad his bed down in the hay

And the night filled up with sound
As mercy cried out, and it's song shook the ground
Singing "peace to the earth, hope can be found
For men of goodwill as heaven comes down"
In the humblest place a savior was found
And his glory all around

Gloria. Gloria in excelsis Deo
Immanuel, God with us
Promised One, Lamb of God, ruler of the heavens,
Yet pleased, as man, to dwell with us

Now here we are, the ones to come
With the promise unveiled to us.
HIs love was among us, the promise to keep
And mercy is calling, if we'll only believe

As the night fills up with sound
As mercy cried out, and it calls to us now
Singing "peace and Goodwill, now hope can be found
HIs grace is among us and the moment is now
In the humblest place a savior was found
If we'll open our eyes, He's here with us now
In the humbles place a Savior was found
And his glory all around
