Lyrics

climbing hand over hand
hoping that one day i'll understand
as far as i might fall down
the path is always there when
i turn around
Knees onto the ground
asking forgiveness
it surely will not be denied me
Pride left at the door
no more is needed than
a clear vision of my
need for a Savior
Old nature calls, "Don't sever the rope,
Ascension is your only hope."
But Don't measure the distance back down
For He will be right here when you turn around
Will you turn around?
*CHORUS REPEATED
In the courtroom with God as your Judge,
You will be found to be guilty
And so will all
But trust in Christ's work not yours,
And He will take on your penalty,
And you will be free
