Story Behind The Song
I was in the middle of writing my first album and hit a severe case of writer's block. So, I sat down and wrote this song to get myself out. I felt like giving up and giving in to everyone telling me I couldn't do it as well as my own doubt. I figured I could quit, or just turn it into a song.
Song Description
This is a song about feeling stuck and not sure if you're on the right track. It's about moving forward in your life even though you're not entirely clear where you're going. Listening to yourself instead of the the limitations imposed upon you by others and not giving into your own doubt and fear.

Lyrics
Some days I wake up jaded
An alarm buzzin' in my head
I'd like to open my eyes slowly
To a crisp, cool dawn instead
But the morning burns of quickly
And I say...
Here we go again
Here we go again
Here we go again
Why is everyone always laughing
When I reveal another plan
Well, at least I'm still tryin'
To play a better hand
They ask, "Isn't it time you settle?"
And I say...
Here we go again
Here we go again
Here we go again
I suppose I could surrender
Just take what I can get
Forget about writing love songs
But I'm not ready for that yet
Sure, It'll take some fine tuning
So...
Here we go again
Here we go again
Here we go again
