Song Description

Genius is often not recognized at first, but instead vilified until the collective unconscious evolves to finally recognize it for what it truly is.

Broadjam Member Reviews

Nice rolling Downbeat groove on the verses and overall a very skillful, lush arrangement. There are lots of dynamic moves both up and down. The lyrics are compelling and dramatic. I've heard this before; it's Doug, and it's another excellent piece of work. It belongs as the theme for a Bond film!!

    - Jeff Roberts
Lyrics

You see colors few can see,
And your eidetic memory
Makes every detail sear your core,
Scenes of love and fields of war

And all the things they thought were true,
Will be dis-proven by the few
Who aren't afraid to see the world the way you do.
You're a visionary, don't let them bury you beneath their shroud of madness.

The prophetic words you speak,
Will go unheeded by the sheep,
So hypnotized by media chaff
That they let speak on their behalf.

And all the things they thought were true,
Will be dis-proven by the few
Who aren't afraid to see the world the way you do.
You're a visionary, don't let them bury you beneath their shroud of madness.

Once the lies have all but ceased,
And the truth has been released,
They'll see how great you truly were,
But til then just play the game
"cause they'll be honoring your name
The day your wisdom's finally heard.

All the things they thought were true,
Will be dis-proven by the few
Who aren't afraid to see the world the way you do.
You're a visionary, don't let them bury you beneath their shroud of madness.

All the things they thought were true,
Will be dis-proven by the few
Who aren't afraid to see the world the way you do.
You're a visionary, don't let them bury you beneath their shroud of madness.
