I have a friend who was being tempted into an affair by a married woman that he worked with. She said she was always going to leave her husband, but claimed that because of financial reasons she could not. She was the primary bread-winner for the family, and was supporting her husband and children. Finally the friend got fed up with the woman tempting him into adultery, and he stopped trying to console her. This is his story.
Song Description
The singer finds himself attrached to a married woman. She claims she is done with the marriage but still lives with her husband, but has little or no respect for him. The married woman is the aggressor in this situation, and tries to entice the singer into an affair, etc. etc., but the singer takes a three steps back from the temptation of an affair, and finds that other things in life are more important than the mess of a love triangle.
