Story Behind The Song

Scarlet Eclipse is a Symphonic Rock band from Singapore. Founded recently in June 2007 by award-winning composer Davyd Chong, the band has just finished recording their very first song entitled "In Between", which they plan to perform it live very soon locally. The name "Scarlet Eclipse" is inspired by the book of Revelation, verses 12-13: "...there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth..." These are some of the signs that are predicted to come to pass, ushering in the end of the age. Likewise, in this world constantly in a flux where there is much confusion and uncertainty, along with disasters and unrest, it sometimes feels like the world is about to end for some of us. Our band would like to be that voice reflecting concerns and connecting this generation with music that moves hearts and opens minds. More than just singing about depressing subjects, our band is always amazed by the bravery, human capacity and steel to weather any storm. It is this note of hope that resonates strongest in our songs.
