Lyrics

{Wooooo Are Ya Scared? Are Ya Scared? Wooooo Are Ya Scared?}
She?s a west coast ghost who likes to surf in the city on the waves of a bee-hive doo {Surfs up Big Boy}
She?s a granny gone bad on a hairdo fad with a black heart déjà vu. {Are Ya Scared?}

When ya go to California,
There?s a spirit who will mourn ya,
If ya die in an earth quake crash.

She was eighty in the seventies,
A hippie with a Pekinese,
Lookin? for a man with cash. {I?m your worst nightmare !}!

It was early in June,
In the Summer of Love,
When they closed down the old commune.

All the families had to leave,
With the tales they could weave,
About a granny and the gasoline moon. {Wooooo}

Well the woman was aware,
Of the fortune she would share,
But was plagued by a pipeline dream.

And the man she had loved,
Up and left her for the lust,
Of his cold hearted black gold scheme. {Now You?re Going Under !!}

Now she?s a west coast ghost who likes to surf in the city on the waves of a bee-hive doo
She?s a granny gone bad on a hairdo fad with a black heart déjà vu. {Surfs up Big Boy}

You better look out, . {Look Out} if you?re her oil man,
You better look out, look out!!
She?s looking for her oil man!!
You better look out, if you?re her oil man,
You better look out, look out!!
She?s looking for her oil man!! . {Are Ya Scared?}

Granny was a girl once,
The daughter of inheritance,
The owner of a hole in the ground.

But she really liked the ocean,
And the surfers and the motion,
Of the love that was all around. {ha,ha,ha,ha}

In the twenties and the thirties,
With the flappers and the flirties,
And the rolling money automobile.

There?s a man who would find her,
That?s to say he didn?t mind her,
As he tried to find his way to steal.

First he tried to steal her heart,
And then he tried to steal her money,
But he didn?t have to try too hard.

She was happy to be married,
With the kids she had carried,
And a big moon green backyard.

Now she?s a west coast ghost who likes to surf in the city on the waves of a bee-hive doo
She?s a granny gone bad on a hairdo fad with a black heart déjà vu.

You better look out, if you?re her oil man, {Look Out}
You better look out, look out!!
She?s looking for her oil man!!
You better look out, if you?re her oil man,
You better look out, look out!!
She?s looking for her oil man!!

In the forties and the fifties,
When the kids moved away,
She would think about the fortune she had lost.

To the man who had stolen
All her money and her love,
And the family was the highest cost.

In the sixties she was seventy,
The root of many family trees,
And somehow she had nothing left to give. {Hang Ten Ya Thief!!}

So she joined a commune
She was a lunar kinda crooner
As she sang about a gasoline moon.

In the seventies, she walked the streets,
And got herself a pekinese
She tried to find her man in the news

Late at night it was an earthquake,
Shook her bed and made her ache
To learn to surf upon the city hairdos. {Surfs up Big Boy}

Now she?s a west coast ghost who likes to surf in the city on the waves of a bee-hive doo {Surfs up}
She?s a granny gone bad on a hairdo fad with a black heart déjà vu. {Hang Ten Ya Thief!!}
Now she?s a west coast ghost who likes to surf in the city on the waves of a bee-hive doo
{Surfs up, Surfs up}
She?s a granny gone bad on a hairdo fad with a black heart déjà vu.
{Wooooo}
You better look out, if you?re her oil man,
{Are Ya Scared? Look Out!! Wooooo Are Ya Scared? Are Ya Scared? }
You better look out, look out!!
She?s looking for her oil man!!
{Surfs Up Big Boy!! Now You?re Going Under !!}
You better look out, if you?re her oil man,
You better look out, look out!!
{Woooo Are Ya Scared? }
She?s looking for her oil man!!
{Hang Ten Ya Thief!!}
