I was at work on day and had my hands full. so i walked into a door with my shoulder to push it open. It was locked. i immediately became angry and shouted"every damn 5 minutes somethings going wrong." Then a voice in my head said "if 1 minute out of every 5 somethings going wrong then what about the other four minutes?" That inspired the lyrics.

Its about realizing the balance of negativity in life as opposed to positivity. Being grateful for the good times.
