Lyrics

I get tired, I get wise to his changes
I go wild, I'm so blind to his rages
I accept he speaks with a different language
I just wish he'd speak my language sometimes

There's a chill in the air tonight
The birds they take flight
While neighbours play their games of chance and love
And still they fight
I accept he speaks with a different accent
I just wish he'd speak my language sometimes

How beautiful he'd be
How beautiful he'd be
How beautiful he'd be
If he'd just speak my language

All the roads are blocked by snow
The going's getting tough
All the faces are ghosts to me
They're powder, chalk and dust
I accept he speaks with a different accent
I just wish he'd speak my language sometimes

How beautiful he'd be
How beautiful he'd be
How beautiful he'd be
If he'd just speak my language

We listen to the weather
But the door is firmly shut
We waiting for the spring to come
But springtime's not enough

I accept he speaks with a different accent
I just wish he'd speak my language sometimes

The vocal sound really good, she has an excellent voice, the verses are very strong. The track is very well produced and mixed, the part all fit well together, leaving a sonic space for the vocal to sit nicely in the track

Nice and solid right from the beginning. i appreciate the simple drums. Singer is spot on! good production.. Nice ending as well!

just such a nice song ... the voice is top class .. instruments are played well.. the mix is excellent ...

I loved the clever lyrics and the music arrangement was very good. The drums gave a nice set up for the chorus. I was drawn in by the combo of your voice and the music. The guitar work was impressive. I see this song as having market poetential in several genres. it could be country rock, pop, or rock. It was very nice song.

I loved the melody and found the rhythm to be very upbeat and danceable. I would, however, classify this song as country though it does have some tinges of pop and rock. The singer's voice is well-suited to the country genre, and I think the song would be a smash hit if she concentrates her talents in this area.
