Story Behind The Song

The song was written after I saw an advertisement for Converse sneakers in New York City. It was inspired by the ad, as well as the Nirvana song "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and it's a song I was hoping to pitch to the New York Mets for the 2013 All Star Game, but due never had the chance to. The song's been played on over 100 FM, college and internet stations worldwide since its release in May of 2013.

An up tempo pop rock song of youth and rebellion, with a repetitive radio friendly chorus that also fits a sports theme.
