Story Behind The Song

Older man, single parent of a boy who has grown into an independent man has lost his job and is struggling to keep his house, is unsure whether there is still a place for him in this world. He knows that at night when he is alone with his thoughts, he finds peace in that he may decide to end it all, but is uncertain about the pain he may cause his son and if he is making the right choices.
