Story Behind The Song

i was in a band for four years and we broke up. first the guitarist left, then i left, and that pretty much did it for the band. i was crushed. i thought i'd be playing with these guys forever. i almost quit but the people around me wouldn't let me. they told me the talent they saw wasn't in the band, it was in me. not to discredit those guys, but i was writting all the songs and arranging them as well. so one day i promised myself that i would start over and not quit. that was the day i wrote this song. "Maybe Today".
