Story Behind The Song

I began writing this song to encourage my little brother who was dealing with depression and had talked of suicide. As I worked on it more I realized that it had the potential to help many other people going through similar circumstances. The verses are written from the perspective of a person in despair and use common statements that I've heard mentioned in suicide notes and such, and the chorus is God's response to that person. I believe that the God of the Bible would not condemn a person for feeling this way, but He would invite him or her into a loving relationship with Him. Even Jesus felt "sorrowful to the point of death."

Song Description

Expresses the feeling of dispair and hopelesness, but offeres hope and healing though the love and acceptance of God.
