Lyrics
Verse 1:
The sea gull struggles against the wind
Back to his home he flies
He could just keep on sailing smoothly
I have to wonder why
Somewhere there must be an answer
A reason to return home
A reason to fly against the wind
Verse 2:
The sand crab was wonderin? a similar thing
For he lived a life that was dull
He always had wondered what he would do
If he?d had the wings of the seagull
He thought that he might enjoy sailing
Wherever the wind blew him ?round
Opening his wings to the sky the see the world
Bridge:
Well a great bird flew down from the heavens
And the sand crab he feared for his life
But the wise bird he carried an olive branch
And he?d come to give the sand crab advice
He said ?Why mister sand crab don?t you scamper away
Out into the dark of the night?
Why don?t you continue not unlike the sea gull
And travel to your heart?s delight?
Perhaps there?s a battle a ragin?
Not two miles away from your home
Or maybe you realize that you would be living alone?
Verse 3:
The bird disappeared and the sand crab was left
To ponder the words that he?d said
And as he was wonderin? his way back home
Some thoughts like these ran through his head
The wind blows in many directions
Enough to make me get dizzy
And the only way to live life satisfied
Is to live life that?s not free
I?m goin? against the wind?
Goin? against the wind
