Story Behind The Song
I believe God can reach anyone, anywhere at anytime. Including whomever may be reading this or listening to Spirit birthed music. God can and wants to redeem, restore and transform us. 1 Peter 1:3 embodies this. That scripture not only appears in my song, but it is also inscribed on the outside of my church.
Song Description
I felt God move me to research a scripture to put in a song. I came across 1 Peter 1:3 and it really spoke to me. Being still and in God's presence, I picked up my guitar and the melodies were born. It took only a few sessions to bring the song together. I prayed much of the time during these sessions and was led not only by the joy in my heart, but by God's presence. I pray this song reaches many and brings glory to God :)
