I felt the pain in my daughter's words, the passion in her tears
Thought to myself: she ain't quite twelve but she's wise beyond her years
Try to provide her with everything, she could possibly need.
But she'd trade Harry Potter and her Barbie Dolls, for clean air to breathe.

and saw the light of dawn declare the day.
