Devil's Play

Story Behind The Song

To take for granted one's own life is a travesty.

Song Description

A demon-person existing in a Demon State that once thought Immortality was his heart's desire with the ability to lure anyone in as the lyrics go: "my eyes are the demon's gaze, making you want to stay, my mind is the demon's place, making you want to play. My heart's an open door, making you mine forever more." However, with immortality comes the inability to TRULY feel, to TRULY hurt and to TRULY live a life of meaning because, "There is no God as my king, Wanting him to Save me." The demon creature realizes that to truly live a life of meaning their must be the eminent future of Death, because with the known fact that death is in one's future it forces them to live a LIFE OF MEANING and to make use of their meaningful time on earth; as an immortal demon creature your presence and time on this earth is meaningless: "To live a life, I must die."
