One of the girls in our group of friends was jealous of the relationship that was developing between my boyfriend and I - so she constently tried to create trouble - to imply one of us was doing things we shouldn't be, spread stories that weren't true and then make excuses to where the stories started.
I got the idea for "My Way" walking down the street...I was thinking about the situation and the chorus just started repeating itself in my head...I ran home, grabbed my guitar and the rest of the song just flowed. Nothing like a little inspiration. :)
I did a quick guitar/vocal demo and played it for Dan - not really sure of it's strength as a song - and he talked me in to recording...and I'm really happy he did.
