Lyrics

NO WAY OUT

Well, I tried to tell you what would happen,
I warned you time & time again.
But you wouldn't listen to reason & now you're here, treading water,
Drowning in your fear.

Suddenly all seems lost, the sun is gone,
Darkness shrouds the sky.
Paying the cost for all your deadly sins,
All that's left is submission.
Some call it karma, some call it consequence,
I call it a long time coming now.
No matter who you blamed, it's all goin' down,
And now there's no way out,
No way out.

You thought that you were unaccountable,
Never worried who was left behind.
But the tables have turned, and there's a new order now, taking over,
Whisperin' in your ear.

Suddenly all seems lost, the sun is gone,
Darkness shrouds the sky.
Paying the cost for all your deadly sins,
All that's left is submission.
Some call it karma, some call it consequence,
I call it a long time coming now.
No matter who you blamed, it's all goin' down,
And now there's no way out.
No way out.

Solo

(Bridge) No one hears you calling out.

Suddenly all seems lost, the sun is gone,
Darkness shrouds the sky.
Paying the cost for all your deadly sins,
All that's left is submission.
Some call it karma, some call it consequence,
I call it a long time coming now.
There's no way to burn this page, it's all goin' down,
And now there's no way out.

Excellent song! Great vocals - pitch is spot on. I really like the melody in the pre-chorus. The sound of the instrumentation is solid, and the mix is absolutely awesome. I would definitely enjoy hearing more from this band.
