Well we got us guitars and we started a band, when we were just 15/ learnin the songs of Nugent and Trower, axes playing lean and mean / well we got our first gig at the local church, playing for a youth group dance / pastor points his finger at me and says let's talk when you get a chance ... and he said

Well we got us an agent and he booked us some jobs, doing the high-school scene / learning the songs of the 1980's Van Halen, Boston, and Queen / Just as soon as we'd play our first tune, it would happen without a doubt / some parent would corner us in the hall, and threaten to throw us out, sayin ...

Turn it down there's too much noise / play something the principal enjoys / you're gonna hurt the ears of our little girls and boys / son, turn it down there's too much noise.

Now we're playing at bars and fraternity parties, and local clubs / wedding receptions, radio promos, Pioneer Square pubs / We're playin our music better than ever, but the comments have turned around / the message is different, it's kind of ironic, with regard to the level of sound , .. and they say
