War is ugly...... Men and women are sent overseas to protect our freedom. It also involves service people being fired at. Some are lucky to come back alive, others are injured or in some cases don't make it back alive.
This song 'When you come home' is about every single one of them who come home, in whatever way, and how their friends, family and loved ones wait for that day..... 'When you come home'
This song was inspired from my time in Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital for heart surgery in 2011, and hearing the sound of helicopters bringing back wounded and maimed service personnel to the Military wing of the hospital for treatment
I put myself in the minds of those back home waiting for them to return home
