Song Description
Dealing with someone you love in their passive-aggressive state. They come around you, begging for your attention, yet have this push-pull attitude, make accusations out of jealousy, and have a new hard-edged persona to mask their obvious insecurities and low sense of self-worth. They are going through a major identity crisis because of a mental breakdown, and use this new tough persona as a defense mechanism against you and others, even though they secretly want to break down and be who they were to you and others previously in complete emotional vulnerability. You know this and can immediately recognize it while they have no clue you can see right through it all.

Don't come around like you just don't care at all..Clearly I can see that your gonna fall...downTry hard to impressYou're such a messYou push awayBut your longing to stayNEW CHORUSPlease open uplet your guard down, submit to meWhat are you waiting for, enoughfurthering our untold storyFronting that you're heartless is a bit much ( I can see through it, yeah I can see through)Maybe you need a little tender touch...now(and who are you really, yeah who's the real you?)You're so insecureWhen I'm sincereyou can have it allhave it allPlease open uplet your guard down, submit to meWhat are you waiting for, enoughfurthering our untold storyCold and cautious( I can see through it, yeah I can see through)Reclaiming stolen innocence(but who are you really, yeah who's the real you?)BRIDGE
All you think you are is going down and out and down andAll you think you are\is going down...
CHORUSPlease open uplet your guard down, submit to meWhat are you waiting for, enoughfurthering our untold storyCold and cautious( I can see through it, yeah I can see through)Reclaiming stolen innocence(but who are you really, yeah who's the real you?)//
