Story Behind The Song
This initial version was inspired shortly after the 911 events, although its message evolves with the passage of time and is always current. The lyrics and melody were slammed on my heart and my sole and spirit responded by putting the song to music. I wanted the song to be a healing type of song that also honors and remembers our forefathers and mothers. While at the same time, helps a person remember their strength and own power that moves them forward.
Song Description
The song is a type of current - age American Anthem that can be produced and sung in different genre's of music. The universal and catchy hook along with the rest of the lyrics captures the essence of what makes America so great, and causes so many people to want to come here. Likewise, the song is about what makes America continue to move forward and thrive!
