VERSE 1:
It?s a cloudy December day
We?re getting set for a holiday
Don?t have to go to school and it?s a Thursday.

We baked some cookies a while ago
Put up some lights in the window
Inside it?s fine but I?m gonna go
I?m making angels in the snow.

VERSE 2:
Put on the boots drying on the mat
Mittens and scarf and my coat and hat
I need my ski pants too, shoulda thought of that.

Finally tumble into the cold
I see my breath and can?t feel my toes
There?s a nice fire inside, I know
But I?m making angels in the snow.

BRIDGE:
I lay back and press into the cool white behind me
Stare into the sky as a few snowflakes blind me
I stretch out my limbs and l start to design me an angel,
My sculpture today will remind me that miracles are on the way.

VERSE 3:
I think I?m done so I settle down
Sit up and brush off and look around
All is so hushed and still in my winter playground.

I stand and jump from my hollow
Don?t wanna mess up my work, you know
I turn and smile as I head back toward the glow
I?ve been making angels in the snow.
