Story Behind The Song

This song is based on a true story about an experience I had with a woman I had just met who was visiting from England and we met ina bar. After our night together, I could not stop thinking about her so my thoughts were manifested into music and lyrics a few days later.

Song Description

WITH ALL OF MY HEART combines many of the influences I grew up with including the acoustic guitar being the lead instrument of the song surrounded by a basic rhythm track and cushioned by a lush string arrangement and woodwinds. When I scored and wrote the song, I could not help noticing several influences including Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, and Dan Fogelberg. I wanted to lyrically suggest the angst I felt when I was away from this incredible woman I just met and how we automatically connected.
