Story Behind The Song

Brody Griswold and singer/producer, Stlo the Brainyak met while working at a call center in Tampa, Florida in 2012. Both were very private about their musical talents, until mutual colleagues found out and suggested they work with each other. "American Hustler" was mixed about 5-6 different times before it was finally mastered in 2016!

Song Description

"American Hustler" is a track that focuses on the concept of hustling to achieve the American Dream, no matter what occupation or walk of life you are in. It begins with a slow, ambient feel, but builds into a sparse, flowing, Hip-Hop track, reminiscent of "Grinding" by the Clipse.
