Story Behind The Song
The song came partly from my own experience of living in many different places in different parts of the world, never staying long in one place, but eventually wanting nothing more than to just settle in one place for a reasonable amount of time and discover myself there rather than searching for something all over the globe and never really knowing what it was I was looking for in the first place!
Song Description
The singer is restlessly searching the world for something elusive, never staying in one place or with one person for long, as that elusive thing always seems like it might be in the next place. Eventually they discover that what they were seeking was in fact in their own back yard all along.
