Story Behind The Song

Up late in a fit of writing in dire need of a refrain... flipped on 'Inside the Actors Studio on Bravo' after hitting a wall... I needed a refrain to sum things up and Gary Oldman was speaking to a difficult situation that had come to pass and he described it as "kind of like a snowshaker" and I then knew that I had found a refrain that summed everything up in a word. Song Description

This is track 4 the album by Twelvehourmary entitled 'Blowing Over', an independently released rock project. The song is a standout ballad that speaks to anyone who has witnessed the falling apart of a relationship. It manages to create unique images with common language... all centered around an emotion that anyone who has been through the ringer can share.
