Story Behind The Song
I spent along time traveling through many different airports. One of my favorite activites was to sit and watch all of the stories unfold in front of me. Through this I realized how into ourselves we all are and how unimportant it really is.
Song Description
The world is filled with so many people and while our personal stories are so all consuming that we think all eyes are on us, they're not. Each of us is out here doing our solo monkey dance but in the end no one is sitting in the audience.

Lyrics
Walking through a crowd
Wondering how many people notice or care
Does my presence in this mass
Leave a lasting impression
Or do I just fade?
As the ants march past
I notice several here and there.
Do they know that I know who they are?
Saw them staggering out of the bar?
Probably not because you?re not as important as you think
Back round the circle to where I began
Lifting my eyes to scan
Which one of these monkeys
Has followed where my thoughts ran
Dance, monkey dance.
Who is the lead in the film of this moment now passing
Do you think it?s you?
Well you can think we?re all looking
That we try not to stare
But you?re not as important as you think
Dance Monkey Dance
