Began as a love song to my girlfriend. As we began to go separate ways I realized the first verse was actuall the beginning of a love song to myself.

It is about the suffering and getting to the nature of who I really am and not living behind a mask with alcohol, drugs or other distracting behaviors that deny us our true nature.
